Merge HubSpot Tasks to Google Tasks: take all HubSpot Tasks and add/merge them to Google Tasks. Any data that already exists on both apps should be merged instead of creating a duplicate. Besides that, since I'm using a SyncAdapter, the user can hit 'Sync now' in their account sync settings to force a sync. Tasks can be sync’d with Toodledo and Apple’s Reminders. This isn't ideal obviously but what other choices are there? I'm trying to avoid placing anything in the middle of the app and Google API but I think that's probably the only solution.Īnother question is what's an ideal polling period? Right now I have it look for local changes every minute and syncing if there are - so this means there isn't necessarily an API call every minute and I don't have to worry about quota. Steps 1+2 can easily be done by many automation/integration solutions but syncing back is more difficult. I've resorted to putting in text at the end of a task's "notes" that the app parses. Task is marked as completed in google tasks. One glaring issue is not being able to add custom fields via the API. Tasks and appointments flow together, like your day.
